Firefighters tackle grass fire in Bulwell

Fire crews from Stockwell used beaters and specialist equipment to put out 100 square metres of blazing grass at Bulwell.

The Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue service reported that its fire teams had been sent out to attend the incident on Sunday, at Bulwell Hall Park.

In a tweet, at 3.03pm, on Sunday, the service reported that the fire was “approximately 100 square meters of grass and undergrowth.

“Beaters and flexipacks were used to extinguish the fire.”
