Among the films opening at the Arc this week is F9 The Fast Saga – the latest instalment in the Fast and Furious movies.

Dom Toretto seems to be living the quiet life with Letty and his son but, as always, threat is lurking around the corner.

In this instance it comes in the shape of Dom’s estranged brother Jakob, played by renowned wrestler John Cena.

Dom must now face his sins of the past while tackling a sibling who wants to place his brother in his shadow for once.

All this sparks a high-octane feast of action that is sure to satisfy the appetite of Fast fans.

Also opening at the Arc this week is In The Heights, which is an American musical drama set in the New York neighbourhood of Washington Heights.

It is based on the Broadway hit of the same name and focuses on Usnavi, who runs a bodega but dreams of returning to the Dominican Republic to reinstate his father’s business.

What follows is a story of love and dreams all set to a fantastic beat.
